Our Mission:
To preserve and promote the Tamil language and its rich literary heritage by providing access to books and resources, and cultural programs through our school nurturing learning, fostering community, and inspiring future generations to embrace the timeless values of Tamil culture.
NCTS Tamil Library was founded with a simple yet powerful vision: to preserve, promote, and pass on the treasures of the Tamil language to past, current and future generations. Operated by a nonprofit organization, our library stands as a community hub that welcomes everyone—regardless of age, background, or familiarity with Tamil literature—into a shared journey of discovery and learning.
We have carefully gathered a collection that speaks to every generation. From classics that echo the voices of our ancestors, to colorful children’s stories that spark young imaginations, and modern works that reflect the world today, our library holds something for everyone. Each book is an invitation to explore, learn, and connect with the depth of Tamil tradition.
Our collection spans a wide range: from timeless Tamil classics and contemporary works to children’s literature, educational resources, and materials. By sharing these resources with minimal fees, we aim to make the rich history, poetry, and storytelling of Tamil culture accessible to students, scholars, and everyday readers alike.
