Can a student be transferred from another Tamil school?
Yes, families do relocate for various reasons. Our affiliated schools model allows us to accommodate the transfers as smoothly as possible. We would like the new school to welcome the parents and accommodate the students.
What is the transfer process?
Parent:
Please open a transfer ticket at our help desk @ https://help.catamilacademy.org/ from your registered email ID.
The ITA team will notify the new school and former school about the transfer request.
Current school Principal:
- ITA requires that the log records in the former school are completely updated before transferring the student. After checking the logbooks are updated, please inform ITA.
New School Principal:
While the transfer process is taking place, please accept the students and place them in the same grade as the former school grade. Parents should not register in the new school again.
Once the log records are updated, the ITA Web team will transfer the student records to the new school.
What does the fees include?
Every student needs to pay the Tuition and Book Fees at the time of registration. The tuition fee for all three terms is $199.00. The fee includes ONE set of books needed for the school year. Books will be handed out to the student on the first day of school or upon joining NCTS, whichever is later.
Are refunds provided after student registration?
Yes, refunds are possible based on terms and conditions.
How much will be refunded?
A $10.00 service charge will be deducted if the student has not attended any classes or attends just one class. (Any books or materials must be returned in good condition to be eligible for a refund).
80% of the tuition fees will be refunded for students withdrawing after attending only 2 classes.
50% of the tuition fees will be refunded for students who have attended more than 2 classes and withdraw before the end of the first term.
No refund for withdrawals after the start of the second term.
A written withdrawal request an email must be submitted to treasurer@northcummingtamilschool.org and CC to contact@northcummingtamilschool.org to get the refund. No refund will be processed without the written request. For fee refund purposes, any class that a student misses after registration will be considered as a class attended by the student.
