Georgia Accrediting Commission (GAC)
We are thrilled and honored to share some wonderful news with you — North Cumming Tamil School has been officially accredited by the Georgia Accrediting Commission (GAC) as of Sunday, September 21, 2025 for the 2025 – 2026 academic year. This achievement reflects our commitment to providing high-quality education and maintaining standards of excellence in Tamil language and cultural education.
With this accreditation, our school is now recognized as an Educational Agency with Special Purposes. This designation is given to programs that serve students with unique learning needs through specialized instructional methods and environments — a meaningful recognition of the work we do!
This is a huge milestone, but it’s just the beginning. Accreditation is the first step in our journey. There are more steps ahead as we work toward earning high school credit recognition in Forsyth County. With this amazing team of dedicated volunteers, we are confident we’ll reach that goal too.
